Bio

Elena Volkova graduated from one of Russia’s most famous conservatories with PhD level in music and performance.
Professional concert pianist at many well known international performances throughout Europe.
Teaching and performance experience for over 40 years.

Member of Music Teacher’s Association of California since 2003

Elena provides a comprehensive approach to piano instruction utilizing the classical technique of combining, teaching piano with an emphasis on music theory, harmony, rhythmic training and ear training. The objective of this instruction is for the students to be able to enjoy music, express themselves through music and acquire the self-confidence to perform for others. Elena encourages her students to perform for family and friends, one of the goals of a quality music education is to prepare the students for public performance.
